Aquamist Flow Sensor 806-428H

So that I can measure close to the true water flow from the BoostManager system I am installing this Aquamist flow sensor, part no. 806-428H, that I’ll monitor via the 0-5V output voltage from.

Just past the flow sensor are the Aquamist nozzles, with checkvalves, that inject near the inlets of the APR bipipes.

SRM SMIC Install

Started installing the Silly Rabbit Motorsport intercoolers.  Didn’t get far before I discovered that the standard RS4 intercooler hoses do not work with the SRM IC’s with RS4 inlet and outlet pipes.

Much too long.  Have an order in with SRM for a set of the hoses that they sell.  I’d obtained these SMIC’s very early in the product lifecycle and the hoses through SRM weren’t available at that time.

Gaining ground

The Nefmoto community tune project is proceeding forward once again.  Here is how it stands compared to a couple “off the shelf” tunes.  The Nef tuning efforts are currently being directed at the initial boost onset to see about getting some more pressure as the actual pressure is falling short of desired.

When that is completed it will be interesting to see if the low end acceleration gap is closed.  At the top end the GIAC tune pushes a few more psi than this tune presently does so the Nef tune may never close the gap up there depending on how we handle the upper rpm boost level.
